It's almost been a week since Jack entered this world and so many things have changed already. His face, his little body, his poopy diapers, his daddy and mommy (and Grandma Susie's) sleep patterns, etc. I think it's safe to say that he's turned our world upside down - for the better.

Jack's first night home was a rough one. He had been circumcised that morning, had some infant testing done, his PKU test and been sent home all in one day. He refused to sleep from 6 pm to 6 am the next morning. My mom and I stayed up with him all night long and we were exhausted. On a bright note, the little guy wasn't fussy, he was just awake - looking around and checking out his new surroundings

Since that night, his sleeping has been much better. He still gets up every 2-3 hours to eat, but it's nothing like that first night. My little boy is ALWAYS hungry and he eats so well. No matter who is holding him, he's always looking/rooting for his mommy.

Here are some pictures of our first few days at home, including his first bath! He didn't care for the initial shock of the water, but his daddy must have the touch because he calmed down soon after.
