This time of year is magical, especially now that Jack is 3 years old and into the full swing of Christmas. Nolan doesn't know what to think, but we had fun introducing him to friends and family he hadn't met before. Sure, we try to teach our kids the real meaning of Christmas, however, we celebrate the magic of Santa and the excitement he brings during the holidays!
Here are a few things that I will cherish while looking back on Christmas 2011......
Preparing for Santa's arrival by writing him a letter and posting it in our front window so he could read it Christmas Eve when he came to our house!

The kids Christmas program at church - Jack was a shepherd and Nolan was Baby Jesus. Sure, it took 3 hours of preparation for the adults and it only took 10 min to perform for the kids, but that's the way it goes! I appreciate all who made that wonderful memory.

Brothers playing.... with trains of course! This was my brother's train when he was little and it's getting plenty of use again!

Bath time on chilly winter days.

First bites of cereal. I was hoping this would curb his appetite in the evenings and allow this mama some extra rest.... so far... not so!

Good time and good smiles!

Cousins.

New Toys.

And family.

Here's hoping the magic of Christmas finds it's way to you this holiday season!
